The Journey So Far
I left my Government job in 2006 to start a web agency. After 7 years of struggling, I finally figured things out and launched WP Curve — a WordPress support subscription that hit $1M ARR in under 2 years. I sold it to GoDaddy in 2016.
Then I co-founded Black Hops Brewing, which grew from a garage to 3 breweries, 70+ staff, and $16M+ revenue. We were voted Australia’s #1 craft beer brand two years running. I was CEO until 2022.
Along the way I wrote 7 books — including The 7 Day Startup which has been translated into 13 languages. These days I’m deep into vibe coding, building software products with AI, and running a coffee business on the Gold Coast.
